Bright Pass

Image Processing/Filters/Bright Pass

Selects pixels above the threshold value relatively to a luminance weight. ​


The Bright Pass box renders pixels with values higher than a given Threshold value, the others become black. The box allows a luminance balance with a per-channel multiplier.


Texture 2D Texture Receives the texture to be processed.


Texture 2D Render Target Outputs the processed texture.



Threshold Float Sets the minimal value needed to pass through.
Use Max Value Toggle Uses the value of the higher channel for the Threshold calculation.
Luminance Weights Float3 Multiplies values with the relative RGB channels for the Threshold calculation. Take note that the total of these values becomes the Maximum value of the Threshold.
