Clamps and remaps values between two ranges. ​

Description

The Clamp box clamps values within a range and may remap these values to fit the output range.

General Use Case: Used for texture, prevents values from exceeding a given range in the case of Floating Point Textures.

Inputs

Input Float Receives the value to be processed.

Outputs

Output Float Outputs the clamped value.

Parameters

General

Type String Sets the type used for the operation.
Input Range Minimum Float Sets the minimal value of the input.
Input Range Maximum Float Sets the maximal value of the input.
Enable Output Remapping Toggle Enables the Output Remapping of the value.
Output Range Minimum Float Sets the minimal value outputted and map the Input Range Minimum on the Output Range Minimum.
Output Range Maximum Float Sets the maximal value outputted and map the Input Range Maximum on the Output Range Maximum.
