Dampens oscillations ​

Description

The Damping box reduces and prevents large oscillations of the input values.

General Use Case: This box is used to smooth values from a detection device.

Inputs

Input Float, Float2, Float3, Float4, Float Vector Receives the value to damp.

Outputs

Output Float, Float2, Float3, Float4, Float Vector Outputs the damped value.

Parameters

Increase Damping Coefficient Float Sets the damping coefficient when the value is increasing.
Decrease Damping Coefficient Float Sets the damping coefficient when the value is decreasing.
Allow Reinitialization Toggle Allows the box to reinitialize.
Type String Sets the inputted type of the box.
