Image Processing/Process/Delta Frame

Computes the difference between a texture and the previous frame. ​


The Delta Frame box is a detection tool that computes the differences between the last two frames of a given input texture. Used to isolate movements within an animated texture or camera feed.

General Use Case: mainly use for camera feed detection purposes.


Texture 2D Texture Receives the texture to be processed.


Texture 2D Render Target Outputs the processed texture.



Delta Frame Mode String Set the Delta Frame Mode. The Both Mode compares the current frame with the previous frame and the difference is outputted in absolute value. The Back Mode subtracts the current frame from the previous frame. The Front Modem subtracts the previous frame from the current frame.
Enable Accumulation Toggle Activates the Accumulation function.


Exponential Dissolution Float Sets the multiplying factor of the texture value.
Linear Dissolution Float Sets the number linearly subtracted to the texture value.
