Writes a string into a texture. ​

Description

The box Font Writer writes a string into the input texture. The font may be changed by another one. The resolution of the font texture must be high enough to avoid character pixilation.The Font Writer currently uses Monospace Font .

General Use Case: The Font Writer box is mainly used for debugging purpose and for surface labeling.

Inputs

Render 2D Texture Receives the texture to draw on.
Text String Receives the string to write on the texture.

Outputs

Texture 2D Render Target Outputs the texture with the blended text.

Parameters

General

Position Float2 Sets the position of the written text.
Scale Float Sets the scale of the characters. The value 1.0 means the width of one character equals the width of the inputted texture.
Horizontal Spacing Float Sets the Horizontal Spacing between characters. A value of 1.0 equals the width of the monospace font character.

Font Selection

Filename Uri Indicates the font used to draw the text. The font is loaded as a texture and divided by the Grid Size into characters.
Grid Size Int Indicates the number of rows and columns in the font texture.

Blend

Blend Mode String Sets the blend mode used to draw the texture.
Source Blend Factor String Sets the blend factor for the RGB components of all Source textures.
Destination Blend Factor String Sets the blend factor for the RGB components of all Destination texture.
Blend Operation String Sets the operation used for the blend.
Alpha Source Blend Factor String Sets the blend factor for the Alpha of all Source textures.
Alpha Destination Blend Factor String Sets the blend factor for the Alpha of the Destination texture.
Alpha Blend Operation String Sets the operation used for the blend of the alpha.
