Image Processing/Filters/Gaussian Blur

Blurs a texture using a gaussian filter.

Description

The Gaussian Blur box blurs the input texture using a gaussian filter.

The Gaussian Blur may be demanding in computer resources. With high resolution textures, the frame rate may be affected by this process. A best pratice is to use a Format box before the Gaussian Blur box to lower the resolution and achieve better performances with a similar result.

General Use Case: The Gaussian Blur may be used in the detection process or as a post process.

Inputs

Range Int Receives the Range value, in pixels, for the calculation of the gaussian curve.
Sigma Float Receives the Sigma value for the gaussian curve.
Texture 2D Texture Receives the texture to be processed.

Outputs

Texture 2D Render Target Outputs the processed texture.

Parameters

General

Range Toggle Enable the Range Input Pin and overrides the Range parameter.
Range Int Sets the amount of pixels in the calculation of the gaussian curve.
Sigma Toggle Enable the Sigma Input Pin and overrides the Sigma parameter.
Sigma Float Sets the sigma value for the gaussian curve.
Gaussian Blur String Chooses the type of Gaussian Blur between Gaussian, Horizontal, Vertical and Custom Gaussian Blur.
Custom Angle Float Sets the angle of the Custom Gausian Blur.
