Generates camera information captured by an Oculus device. ​

Description

The Oculus Camera receives information from an Oculus device and generates one camera per eye. The outputted Camera Type may be used in the 3D pipeline. The left and right camera outputs may be used with the Scene Renderer box to generate the two scenes for the Oculus.

Camera information updates accordingly to the Oculus physical setting and to the user movement.

The Oculus Runtime for Windows from Oculus VR must be installed.

General Use Case: The box is used to send camera information on two parallel Scene Renderers.

Inputs

Device Oculus Rift Device Receives information from an Oculus Rift Device.
Position Float3 Sets the Position parameter when enabled.
Target Float3 Sets the Target parameter when enabled.
Transform Transform Adds a transformation to the Transform generated by the Oculus Device box.
Up Float3 Sets the Up parameter when enabled.

Outputs

Camera Left Camera Outputs the camera information for the left eye of the Oculus. Camera information updates accordingly to the Oculus physical settings and to the user movement.
Camera Right Camera Outputs the camera information for the right eye of the Oculus. Camera information updates accordingly to the Oculus physical settings and to the user movement.

General

Orientation

Enable Input Pin: Transform Toggle Enables the Transfrom Input Pin and override the Position, Up and Target parameters.
Enable Input Pin: Position Toggle Enables the Position Input Pin and override the Position parameter.
Position Float3 Sets the XYZ camera position.
Enable Input Pin: Up Toggle Enables the Up Input Pin and override the Up parameter.
Up Float3 Sets the XYZ normalized Up Vector of the camera. The default value is (0,1,0).
Enable Input Pin: Target Toggle Enables the Target Input Pin and override the Target parameter.
Target Float3 Sets the XYZ position on which the camera is pointed.

Frustum Limits

Near Plane Float Sets the closest distance from the camera to start rendering.
Far Plane Float Sets the furthest distance from the camera to start rendering.
