Tile In Texture

Simulation/Tile In Texture

Divide a texture into active tile.

Description

The Tile In Texture box is a pre-built 3D simulation. The Tile In Texture divides a texture into a grid of tiles reacting to an active detection texture.

To change between textures seamlessly, the Tile In Texture alternates textures received in the Texture Vector. The box manages the alternation with the size of the inputted Texture Vector.

See the Tiles FX template for a working example.

Inputs

Detection 2D Texture Receives the detection texture. Active regions flips the corresponding tiles.
Layer [N] 2D Texture Receives the texture alternation. The Input is activated when the logic is controlled manually.
Render 2D Texture Receives the render texture to draw the tiles on.
Size Int Receives the size of the Texture Vector. The Input is activated when the logic is controlled manually.
Tex Vector Texture Vector Receives the texture vector to alternate between the contained texture.

Outputs

Index Int Outputs the index of the current texture shown.
Index 1 Int Outputs the current index to select the texture of the Layer 1. The Output is activated when the logic is controlled manually.
Index 2 Int Outputs the current index to select the texture of the Layer 2. The Output is activated when the logic is controlled manually.
Texture 2D Render Target Outputs the simulation result.

Parameters

General

Tiles

Tile Mode String Selects the Tile Mode used to render the content. The Cube Flip Mode render the texture on 3D prisms. The Flat Flip Mode render the texture as a flat plane flipping like a card.
Grid Int2 Sets the number of columns and rows of tiles.
Scale Float Sets the size of the tiles.

Renderer

FOV Float Sets the Field Of View of the camera.
Speed Multiplier Float Sets the general simulation speed.

Interaction

Still Time Time Sets the minimal time between texture flip.
Flip Percentage Float Sets the minimal percentage of flipped tiles to change the foreground texture index.
Fade To Black Float Sets the level of the fade to black of a moving tile.

Advanced

Enable Depth Test Toggle Enables the depth test of the tiles.
Internal Interpolation Toggle Enables the Texture Vector Input Pin and the internalization of the logic. If deactivated, the logic must be manually managed with Pop, Get Item and Push boxes.
Number Of Input Pins: Layer Int Sets the number of Layer and Index Input Pins.
